The Difference between Negeri Sembilan and Selangor State Governments

A SIMPLE message has been circulating on Whatsapp stating:

Negeri Sembilan is quite ahead of us (Selangor) the government is discussing which land can be leased (RM10/month) to NGOs for TNRM/Shelter purposes. They basically agreed to TNRM and helping NGOs in anyway they could by offering resources.

This is apparently written by an animal lover and rescuer who has for many years battled with the Selangor State Government over the numerous issues with stray cats and dogs, especially on how to manage them.

This clearly shows the DIFFERENCE between a good state government with its people understanding the sentiments of the people, and one that continues to ignore the people's grouses especially after having been in power for more than three terms.

Back in 2008, I had given Pakatan Harapan at most 2+1 terms -- two terms to clean up the mess, and one term to show that it is taking off. But Selangor Government under its Menteri Besar Amiruddin Shaari is a real flop where I am concerned.

Now, with the Federal minister for Local Government also from DAP, there is no reason why the state exco in charge of local government cannot do a good job. Previously, it was Ng Sze Han, and now it is Ng Suee Lim.

Who are these DAP leaders aligned to -- the people or their personal agenda they hope to achieve when placed in the position? Till now, many of the issues raised in this blog have yet to be solved.

At least, Negeri Sembilan has learnt to work alongside with NGOs to help them take good care of the stray animals, and find them a home, while in Selangor, these animal lovers have to battle with the state government and some of its enforcement officers.
