Complaints Swept under the Carpet

 


        A question just have to be asked, "What are the issues that you face in Selangor?" and many complaints start to come to the surface. 

AIR POLLUTION

Every night around 10pm - 12pm, a factory in Kampung Desa Aman releases choking gas, waste from their production plant. 

Health hazard! I heard, complaint had been delivered to authority for years but with no improvement.

QUIT RENT

We tried to get appointment to talk to MB again on our unfair, very high cukai tanah in Rawang but he just ignored us for a long long time. We met him when he first became MB and he promised to lower it. But PTG went against it and he mellowed.

Rawang cukai tanah was the highest in Selangor because it follow Selayang because it is under Gombak and so follow Selayang rate.

TS Khalid rectify it but AA reverted it. We talk to them Chua and William but MB ignore them too.

SHAH ALAM STADIUM

Look at the Shah Alam Stadium built at such a high cost. Look at it now. Disgraceful. We paid so much for this stadium.

A total of almost six tonnes of construction debris had been dumped here at the site for a number of years. 9 January 2025     Credit must go to Datuk Bandar Tuan  Zahri Samingon and the team of people who worked very hard today to clear construction debris. Selangorians are disappointed with the 25% hike in assessment rates

THE PEOPLE of Selangor need a government where its leaders are more concerned about the welfare of its citizens.        Despite being the richest state in Malaysia, many of the citizens of this state are still struggling to provide for all the needs of their families.         Many are still miserable, especially the elderly. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Selangor State Government did not even give any assessment tax discount to the people of Selangor that it claims to “love.” The People Are Miserable Now       For 20 years, the Selangor Government is governed by Pakatan Harapan, finally the same as the Barisan Nasional era where the people’s objections to the raise in assessment rates are no longer the priority.      During the time of Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, with his “merakyatkan Ekonomi Selangor”, the Selangor government with most of the reform-minded leaders was a beacon of hope for Malaysia, but in my opinion,...
