FROM A BOUQUET OF FLOWERS TO A STANDING OVATION FOR MBPJ FOR DATUK BANDAR OF PETALING JAYA AND THE STAFF OF MBPJ!

8 January 2025 FINALLY, after complaint reached the ears of the Datuk Bandar of Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ), work has started to clear the heaps of construction debris at Jalan Tembaga in Sri Damansara Industrial Estate.      The response from Datuk Bandar shows that work may have to take two days to complete. A total of almost six tonnes of construction debris had been dumped here at the site for a number of years. 9 January 2025     Credit must go to Datuk Bandar Tuan  Zahri Samingon and the team of people who worked very hard today to clear construction debris. Yesterday, after taking this photograph, I sent it to Tuan Zahri just to show him the extent of the dumpsite. Around the same time when this photograph was taken, I noticed a young man taking photographs of the site as well. Appeal to our national leaders to do something about Selangor

  I find it very shocking that a Selangor state exco has recommended  that everyone attending concerts in the state of Selangor be screened for drugs.     This is, in my opinion, a sad state where leaders have not given much to what he was saying. The  suggestion is not only laughable, but it does not augur well with someone holding such a position. He  should, in fact, refrain from making such a statement.  Knee Jerk Response      Most concerts for New Year's Eve attract big numbers of participants. The State Local Government and Tourism Committee chairperson Ng Suee Lim's suggestion is at best another "knee jerk" reaction to the deaths at a New Year countdown concert.     In fact, I have a number of questions to ask Ng:  (a) Who will pay for the urine tests? Selangorians are disappointed with the 25% hike in assessment rates

THE PEOPLE of Selangor need a government where its leaders are more concerned about the welfare of its citizens.        Despite being the richest state in Malaysia, many of the citizens of this state are still struggling to provide for all the needs of their families.         Many are still miserable, especially the elderly. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Selangor State Government did not even give any assessment tax discount to the people of Selangor that it claims to “love.” The People Are Miserable Now       For 20 years, the Selangor Government is governed by Pakatan Harapan, finally the same as the Barisan Nasional era where the people’s objections to the raise in assessment rates are no longer the priority.      During the time of Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, with his “merakyatkan Ekonomi Selangor”, the Selangor government with most of the reform-minded leaders was a beacon of hope for Malaysia, but in my opinion,...

Masalah-masalah yang sudah dilapurkan kepada YDP

  SEMUA ini sudah dilaporkan kepada YDP Majlis Perbandaran Selayang sejak awal bulan Oktober 2024.          Memandangkan sikap YDP baru ini tidak peka kepada maklumat yang disalurkan dari 'ground' secara Whatsapp, dari sekarang saya terpaksa hebahkan segala masalah walaupun saya sememangnya faham mereka tidak akan dapat menyelesaikan masalah. Tapi rekodnya di sini. Jika tidak beres masalah rakyat, maka pemimpin-pemimpin Kerajaan Madani akan dapat lihat bagaimana sikap penjawat-penjawat awam di peringkat Kerajaan Tempatan.           Puji atau tak puji itu bergantung kepada sikap mereka. Jika mereka buat dengan baik tanpa kami buat aduan, mereka pasti mendapat pujian.
